It is impossible to look back at the 2000s and not reminisce about the chart-topping music of the 2000s. With the rise of digital downloads and the early days of internet access, this era was perfect for an explosion of all music genres; creating pop icons, hip-hop achieving mainstream success and the evolution of R&B. The decade of digital evolution created pop culture icons- Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Jay-Z and Eminem.
